We offer bespoke sheet metal enclosures and metal screening cans
Manufactured using a variety of process methods including, photo etching, metal stamping, CNC machining, wire erosion & laser cutting. Parts are available with maximum dimensions of 600mm x 600mm and thicknesses ranging from 0.05mm to 3.00mm.
Qualitetch work with most metals, including: Nickel Silver, Mu Metal, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Beryllium Copper, Nickel, Molybdenum, and many others.
All our metal enclosures come with or without finishing such as tin plating, silver plating, gold plating, nickel plating, anodising, alocrom and many more.
Sheet metal enclosures and screening cans are also available, formed with either “half etched” score lines with assisted folds, full production progression or die set form-tooling. Half etched score lines can be a particularly effective way to reduce the cost of potentially expensive form-tooling. To achieve this we etch only one side of the part, on the required fold lines, to give a partial etch depth used for assisted forming.
We offer a wide range of screening and enclosure products using differing iterations and fixings such as: fences and lids, five-sided cans, bespoke labyrinth designs, multiple compartment, hole and dimple, spring fingered lids and many more designs.
Our assembly line approach reduces manufacturing time and allows us to save time by cutting unnecessary steps out of the manufacturing process.
Dedicated Team
We have a dedicated team of fully qualified professionals who are on hand to deal with and complete assembly work requests from our customers.
Bespoke Requirements
We offer assembly, soldering and spot welding, bespoke packaging, and also many other specialist bespoke customer requirements that our clients may have.
Save Time and Money
Our processing methods are perfect for either an initial research and development project or a full production as we have dedicated volume lines for manufacture if required. Parts can also be supplied with part mark identification numbers, such as part or drawing numbers, at no extra cost. With the half etch fold lines previously mentioned, the identification can be completed in the same process.
Components can also include pins for PCB fixings or castellated features, bespoke to your particular design requirements. Screening cans and sheet metal enclosures can also be offered with either open or sealed corners once 3D formed, as we are able to spot weld internal or external tabs, or indeed, spot weld the corners for water resistant requirements. Many of our cans and enclosures are for radio frequency interference (RFI) or electro-magnetic shielding (EMS) or electro- magnetic shielding (EMI).
